We stayed in Penghana during our first visit to Tasmania and I wish we had more than one day planned - that was not just a stay, but a marvelous experience.
For sure book for 3 days, so you have time to enjoy the historic house so well taken care of by Karen and Steve and visit the nearby gems.
What a wonderful hosts they are.
Breakfast was very delicious and fresh-made, do take the overnight oats by special receipt from Karen and definitely the full warm morning plate, offered by Steve.
The serving, porcelain and the story behind collecting it has a special place in our hearts now.
Spend time in the well-arranged museum of the Penghana - such a history gem!
